3-year anniversary of my trip around the world

Today, 3 years ago I swung onto my motorbike and set off on the biggest adventure of my life.
Unfortunately, the past year did not go quite as planned. Originally, I wanted to stay in India only for 3 months before continuing on to Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. But thanks to COVID 19 everything turned out completely different. In the meantime it has been 11 months, of which I spent most of the time in Udaipur, Rajasthan, because the "Carnet de Passage" for my motorbike has expired in the meantime and therefore my motorbike is actually "illegal" in India at the moment. Since 6 months now I am waiting for my Carnet to be extended - but the Indian bureaucracy is not in a hurry...
But I don't want to complain, after all I am still healthy, my motorbike is still running, Udaipur is probably one of the most beautiful cities in India and I have made a lot of new friends here.
When I look back on the past 3 years, it almost seems like a dream. It is hard to put into words what breathtakingly beautiful landscapes I was able to experience, what incredible hospitality and warmth was shown to me everywhere and what cultural, architectural and historical treasures I was able to see. And every morning when I wake up I am happy that my "dream" is still not over and I am curious what adventure is waiting for me next...
