My motorcycle ...is a Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT from 2017. I chose this bike because on the one hand it is a good and not too heavy travel enduro and on the other hand it is not as expensive as a comparable BMW. Therefore this motorcycle seems to me to offer the best price/performance ratio. Whether this will prove to be true in practice is of course a different matter - but so far I am very satisfied with my choice.

My current route On 04.11.2017 I left with my motorcycle to travel once around the whole world. I carry a "Spot Gen3" with me. On the one hand to be able to get help in a possible emergency situation worldwide, but also to track my route. Every 5 minutes my exact position is recorded via satellite. On the map below you can - almost in real time - follow my route.
