Ishak-Pascha-Palace

Castle-like palace of the Ottoman emir.

The castle-like Ishak Pasha Palace was built between 1685 and 1784 by the Ottoman emir Doğubeyazıt Çolak Abdi Paşa and his son. 

It is located on the former Silk Road, in the Ararat Plateau in the extreme east of Turkey, about six kilometers southeast of the city of Doğubeyazıt.

It unites architectural styles of the Seljuks, Armenians and Ottomans.
